I love Liberty Station. I often try to stop in Con Pane to get a loaf of bread (cranberry walnut or like) for breakfast. My major issue is that the line is always long and moves super slow. Even when it is not packed! The saving grace... 2 things for me (1) if you just want to grab a loaf of fresh baked bread there is a separate line and (2) the food is consistently good and fresh. Parking is free and convenient.

Don't wait in the long regular entrance line if coming for bread, go through outdoor cafe door on the left. Usually much shorter line for bread only. We get the French country bread and love it. Lasts only 2 days freshness wise so eat fast. Sandwiches ok but the breads are what we come here for, best bread I've had in the States and I used to live in Belgium so I know good bread! :-)

A variety of breads and other baked goods. One of the best I have seen in San Diego. A must visit for bread lovers. Very reasonable prices. Great indoor and outdoor seating. Good coffee, quick and friendly service. Plenty of free parking and surrounded by great open spaces and art galleries.

Four stars for their friendly customer service but I have to take a way one star for their desserts and drinks. The desserts are okay, and they put way too much ice in your drinks. It seems like a good spot to hang and catch up with friends. My family came because of their good reviews but nothing exceeded our expectations. Desserts and drinks are quite expensive for the size.

Love the bread and everything there, but what's up with the unnecessary long line at the cashier and the closed days that seem to keep changing? Never really know when they are opened, or not. I think it used to be Wed, then Tue, now both Tue and Wed? Several times just realized they closed when I was at the door.
